Mission Statement

 

To promote unity and strength among Native Hawaiian and Polynesian gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgenders.

To share our culture with the greater community through traditional practices, songs, dances, and food.

To increase awareness, provide education, create and implement culturally relevant interventions around HIV to all Native Hawaiians and Polynesians.

To provide awareness to Native Hawaiians, Polynesians, and the greater community on issues regarding the prejudices and difficulties we face, and to also propose potential solutions.

To provide education surrounding the difficulties of assimilation into Western Society without losing our Native Hawaiian and Polynesian heritage.

To provide support and guidance to our youth regarding sexual orientation and how it’s viewed within the Native Hawaiian and Polynesian cultures.
